Young entrepreneurs: We want YOU! Are you a kid or teen who has a side hustle? If you make it, grow it or sell it, we'd love to have you reppin' your biz on the plaza during Creekside Family Fun Day. We’ll have a designated space for kids to set up their own booth and sell their small business offerings. We love seeing future business owners at this event and are impressed every year how talented this crew is. We’ve had woodworkers, bakers, jewelers, gardeners and more. Help us get the word out to recruit more of these entrepreneurial youngsters!

Here is just a little bit of what we have planned:

  • Giant Inflatable Slide

  • Bounce House

  • Dunk Tank

  • Downpour Derby

  • Giant Inflatable "Hamster" Balls

  • And more to come, so stay tuned!

NEXT MONTH

During the first weekend in August, Indian Creek Plaza is hosting our annual BAMJAM. This event is a 3-on-3 basketball tourney for all ages and skill levels. This event is a blast every year and even the spectators get to enjoy themselves! We’ll have food trucks, music, family-friendly activities, skills competitions and an opportunity to watch all kinds of b-ball games from every skill level. It’s a blast to cheer on the kiddos and then switch gears to a neighboring court where skilled adults are leaving it all on the court: slam dunking and all! Make sure to watch the slam dunk competition and the 3-point challenge where participants exhibit their skills outside of a game setting. We’ve seen some pretty impressive exhibitions over the years and can’t wait for another round! Registration is closing soon, so recruit your posse and sign up today!

Round 2 is just a month away! We had a BLAST at our recent Super Soaker Showdown last week and are already getting pumped for the next one. Caldwell Fire brought their massive engine and kept the plaza absolutely DRENCHED for two solid hours. Incredible! The local baseball team, The Sockeyes, joined in on the action too and were just like the kids - running around the plaza in this epic water war. Don’t miss this next one on August 7th from 11-1. It’s a summer highlight, for sure!

We’re back for another Movie on the Plaza night! Last month for our first movie pick, we watched The Sandlot. A classic! It was so fun. We had about 250 guests on the plaza enjoying the movie and eating from our amazing downtown eateries nearby. Kids were going back and forth from the splash pad to watching the movie and adults were camped out in their favorite folding chairs from home.

In August for our First Thursday event on the 7th, we will be showing the movie, Heavyweights. Disney released this film over 30 years ago and it still brings the laughter to this day. We’re excited about this one!

The plaza transforms into a straight-up honky tonk, packed with cold beers, live country music, and all the dancing your boots allow! We’ve teamed up with Caldwell Night Rodeo for this rowdy, fun-filled night of celebrating Idaho’s best rodeo (not biased, of course). Seated as one of the nation’s Top 20 professional rodeos and also ranked within the Top 5 large outdoor rodeos, CNR has really made a name for itself, and we want in on the action.

Now you just have to decide one thing: Are you part of the “Rowdies” or “Civies?” (If you know, you know).

Event Highlights-

Country Line Dancing Lessons: ONYX Dance Studios believes that everyone has the ability to dance if given passionate instruction and a safe space to practice. Whether you have two left feet or years of experience, you can trust that Onyx Dance Arts has something to teach you.
