“Brews and Beards”
With over 40 breweries pouring drinks on-site, there’s something for every beer palate. From pale ale to stout and everything in between, we’ve got you covered. Sample from your choice of 12 different breweries throughout the night (don’t worry, we’re not talking pints!). Why pick just one when you can try 12?!
Beard and Mustache Competition: This one’s for all you gents who’ve been blessed with bountiful facial hair. That’s right, we’re looking at you, ‘Sasquatch!’ Some gents have been preppin’ all year for this one. We’ve got combers, waxers and even some ironers out there waiting to be crowned Wild West Brewfest’s next beard king.
Logistics: The Brewfest is open to all ages and is free to attend. The beer tasting tickets are strictly for purchase by persons 21+ (A Driver's License or Passport is required on the day of the event to redeem your ticket for beer tasting). You’ll get a wristband verifying your age, 12 tasting tickets and a commemorative mug to keep.
“Fun, Sun and Water Guns”
Get ready for an epic showdown on the plaza! We're bringing the thrill of summer to life with our Super Soaker extravaganza. Join us as we team up with our local fire department to unleash a tidal wave of fun. Caldwell Fire Department is bringing their massive fire engine to create the ultimate splash. It’s the kiddos against the firefighters: Let the battle begin!
We have two dates set for this event, so mark your calendars now for both July 2nd and August 7th.
Bring your own Super Soakers and keep filling them up in our mini pools, strategically placed throughout the plaza to keep the battle going. Take part in the most epic water war imaginable. It's time to gather your squad, tag your friends, and gear up for an afternoon of non-stop laughter and excitement.

“Stories in the Sun”
Caldwell Public Library is hosting Plaza Storytime on Fridays from 10:30-11 am. If you attend all 7 story times, enter a chance to win two individual Wahooz all-day passes!
On Friday, June 6th this event will be 30 minutes earlier at 10 am.
“Fun in the Sun!”
Hard to beat early summer in downtown Caldwell. Events are in full swing, ample patio seating at your favorite eateries and a TON of activities to keep the whole family happy for hours. Along with the splash pad, we’ve added some great features to the list of attractions and want to share them with you.
“Get SPUN!”
We knew that when we first saw these “Spun” Chairs they were going to be fun, but they have already far exceeded our expectations. They’re a hit with kids and adults alike. Try NOT smiling while whirling around in one of these chairs, we dare you! They have added so much value to the plaza. If you haven’t already, come check them out!
“Basket Pong”
Nothing wrong with a little friendly competition! This one is perfect for teens and adults.
Fill the buckets half full of water (oh yeah, you’re going to get a little wet!)
Split them evenly between two teams (at least two players, but more is ok)
Arrange buckets in a “V” pointed toward competitor.
When the ball splashes into a bucket, remove it and continue until one team has no buckets left - YOU WIN! Easy, right?
This game is perfect for a warm day when you want to get a little wet, but the splash pad isn’t your thing. Start perfecting your victory dance now and recruit your friends to come and play!
“Paddles Ready!”
Once you’ve perfected your shot in Basket Pong, head over to the Ping Pong table. Yep, we have ALL the pongs on the plaza now! This game is great for kids and adults and can be as relaxed or competitive as you want.
“Chess, Anyone?”
The ultimate game of strategy has made its way to the Plaza in a BIG way! Giant chess is a new way to play a classic game and have some fun in the sun. Why not get your Vitamin D while planning your next move?
