TASTE OF CALDWELL WINE FESTIVAL

Saturday, April 18, 2026•5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Celebrating Caldwell’s Sunnyslope Wine Region

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE FESTIVAL

  • Get to know local winemakers and their wines firsthand

  • Personal Tasting Menu with room for notes about each wine sampled

  • Bottles available for purchase at a discounted price

  • Live music from Orale; an Idaho-based, Latin-inspired funk band

  • Curated food vendors offering unique pairings for any palate

  • Unveiling of handcrafted wine barrels from local artists

Each guest will receive a tasting menu to guide their experience while sampling up to 12 wines of their choice. Every one of the 21 attending Sunnyslope wineries is bringing a curated selection crafted specifically for this event. As you taste, winemakers will mark each sample on your menu so you can easily revisit your favorites later.

Come ready to stock up. With tote in hand, guests are encouraged to purchase full bottles directly from the wineries. Discover new favorites, compare styles, and take home the wines you love without making a separate tasting‑room trip.

The Plaza will come alive with the sound of Orale, a high‑energy band known for blending Latin rhythms with funk and Motown influences. Their performances are layered, dynamic, and built to keep the atmosphere vibrant throughout the evening. Expect a mix of familiar classics and fresh arrangements that pair perfectly with a night of wine tasting.

Guests will also have the chance to see handcrafted wine barrels created exclusively for this festival by local artists. Each barrel was previously used by Sunnyslope wineries to age the very wines being poured at the event. The artist has burned the names of all 21 wineries into the wood, creating a one‑of‑a‑kind tribute to the region. These barrels will be unveiled at the festival and displayed near the main stage, offering a unique photo opportunity.

To elevate the tasting experience, we have curated a small group of vendors offering thoughtful food and wine pairings for purchase designed to complement and expand your palate.
