SKATE N.O.W. PROGRAM JANUARY 2019

FREE ICE-SKATING LESSONS & MENTOR PROGRAM FOR TEENS IN CANYON COUNTY

Destination Caldwell volunteers and Indian Creek Plaza staff have teamed up with the Laura Moore Cunningham Foundation to create a FREE Ice Skating & Mentorship program called Skate N.O.W. (Navigate Our World). Children in Caldwell and the Canyon County area between the ages of 12 and 16 are eligible to participate. The program is limited to the first 250 students that return the application.

The Skate N.O.W. Program will be held 5 consecutive Saturday mornings from 10 -11:30AM starting January 12, 2019.During each session, your children will receive an ice-skating lesson, a snack and warm drink, and a compass activity. Compass activities will relate to Nutrition & Wellness, Economics, Service & Community and World Exploration. The activities will be hosted by community mentors and will consist of hands on learning and skills our kids will need to ‘Navigate Our World’. Children who complete at least three (3) sessions and come to the final party will receive a certificate of completion and a free skate pass for future use.
